Hi, i just registered but I have been reading these fourms for years and had a question i hope someone can answer. I recently purcahsed a season pass and was wondering what do i need to take to get my card when i go up there for the first time this year. i was also wondring how long the whole prosess takes. Thanks alot for any help.
I believe you take your season pass certificate to the season pass center and they will take your picture and then give you your official season pass card. If you wait till opening day, the lines at the season pass center can be horribly long, like waiting for MF twice (or thats what it seemed like in 03'). However, the season pass center does open before opening day and if your in the area and can stop by, that would really save lots of time on opening day(if your planning on going of course). If not, usually the process takes about 5 to 10 minutes during any other normal day, depending on crowds of course.

But I would agree to get to the season pass center when it opens in April.
Oh and BTW, does anyone have a guess as to when they plan to open it? I know they'll announce it but does anyone have a guess? Me and 2 my friends plan to take a drive out there during spring break and get new pictures. I'm hoping it'll be open during that time.

We've been driving down in April to get our passes, and it's well worth the early trip down.
Once you see the line on opening day, you'll be thankful you didn't wait.
Alright....That just answered my questions.....We did the online Season Pass thing for the entire family!!! We will DEFINATLY be taking a Road Trip during the weekend Mid April!!! I can't believe that the lines are really that LONG......
I hope that that is the only long Line we will see During Opening Day!!!!
If It wasn't for fun, Life would be all work. Now who wants that????
Another Question regarding Season Passes.....
We Are planning to go on April 22nd to go get our season passes for the family. Are They going to charge the parking fee or not??..I would hate to get there and not be able to get in because I forgot about bringing some extra cash!!
Thanks again!

We've never been charged a parking fee when going to get our passes.
There is usually someone at the booth, they'll just ask what you're there for though.

YIKES! This is what I want to avoid, but I just can't make a 5+ hour trip to CP before opening weekend. I'm not coming for opening day but Sunday the 7th. How early should I plan on getting to Season Pass Center to get a decent spot in line on Sunday? How early do they even open the parking lot toll booths?
I have been geting my pass from Michighan's Adventure. I am a little confused on something though. Is there a add on for GL through MA or are you good to go?

cplover - You are good to go. The only reason for the GL add-on to a CP pass (and vise-versa) is because of the close proximity of the parks.
Kevin - I believe they only sell the vouchers. You still have to go to the park to get the actual pass. Which if you wait until opening day means you'll be in a line longer than a TTD breakdown.

Well the thing is, we're going camping at East Harbor state park after Easter, before the park opens. So...I wanted to purchase my voucher at Meijer and bring it up the weekend of the 21st. So...im hoping they seel the vouchers (thats what I meant, sorry) before then. Just wondering if anyone knew when they implement that.
Last year, I was one of the lemmings in line. Althought it was week 3, it still took us 35 minutes to get it all done.
You don't have to purchase the voucher ahead of time (if Meijer isn't selling them yet). You can always just pay for your pass when you pick it up on the 21st.
