After attending the Pointbuzz off-season event, my coaster withdrawls kicked into high gear. I just couldn't take it anymore so I visited Kings Island last weekend for all three days the park was open. My trip report can be viewed here:

It is weird to have done all that coaster riding and come back to this forum and read about the upcoming opening day, etc. It feels to me like the middle of the season already! Anyhow, I'm looking forward to my first CP visit which looks like it will be the weekend after opening. Hopefully we have Windseeker by then.
Lastly, though my handle here is MagnumFan, I am falling in love with Diamondback, front-seat only. I don't think there's a coaster at CP that can compare with that particular experience. It's all made possible by the ingeniously designed, minimalist constraints that make a whole new ride experience possible.
I actually prefer the middle of Diamondback's trains to the front or back. I find that the front doesn't deliver enough air, the back provides very forceful air, and the middle is exquisitely balanced for sustained float over each hill crest. Call me Goldilocks.

The middle of DB does indeed have tons of airtime. Perfect zero-G most of the time.
The only reason I like the front is since one hard-core rider was explaining to me that you have to lean way forward, like you're trying to touch your toes when going down the hill. When you do that, the view and feeling is unbelievable in the front seat. You just see the ground rushing towards you, and even the smaller bunny hills towards the end are a huge thrill.
I still can't get over the fact that there's no secondary restraint on this ride, like maybe a seatbelt that fastens to the orange lap pad. It's the thrill of my mind believing that the restraint could fail that makes it so intense for me.
