Gemini station paint scheme

The thing is, there weren't really any "colors" before, unless you include brown...

Steuks!!
VertiGo flights: 4
MF: 28

I think it looks kinda wierd. But after time I'm sure I will like it. :)

First CP Coaster: Corkscrew
MF Laps: 26
MF Front Seat Laps: 2
I used to be Nick G.

There's no way to listen to music in the station house before...unless you heard "Funky Town" from the midway. The old colors were brown with green pillars...this is just sick. It's a classic coaster...not a bad trip to Sherman Willams.
If anything needed painted on that coaster it was the lap bars.  There wasn't a day that the paint would chip off the bars and then onto my hands which would in turn end up on my face.  We all had little black paint chips on us, all the time.

But I miss the dark colors these new bright colors are going to bring more people on the ride and you know what that means?!?  GEMINI MIGHT HAVE A LINE!  I know, I know, its a hard one to think of, but just maybe, maybe.

Haha, the same thing happens on Magnum - especially after some rain and everything is wet.  Thus the expression, "You have lapbar on your face!" :)

I think it's... uh... unique. I kinda like it though. It does make it look more "festive."

When Gemini first opened the trains had the kind of color gradient that the station has now. I wonder if they will bring the train colors back. I hope so, I think it's cool looking.

It's very hard to drink all day...
Unless you start first thing in the morning.
I kind of like it.  Its much better than the old brown(?).  They should paint the whole thing those colors :P
The front of the station, with the bold, saturated colors...red, orange, yellow, with blue handrails, and orange on the supports going over the roof...actually looks pretty good.

The entrance stairs, the blue side exit stairs, the handrails around the back of the building, the back side trim, the entire building interior including the ceiling, weight boxes, the control doghouses, the handrails, and even the stools have all been painted a hideous pastel lavender color.

I also noticed that the orange paint on an aluminum trim piece along the red side exit stairway is peeling. Same paint crew that Kentucky Kingdom used to paint Chang the first time??

There's a speaker playing music on the midway, right in front of the Gemini entrance.

Dave, I think the lavender paint is a primer. Most of the station was painted in it before they painted the present colors.
I like the new colors.  I wouldn't paint my house those colors, but for an amusement park it works.

I'm surpised some of the operators are complaining.  I wish my office was painted like that.  Anything is better then tan cubical walls, with tan desk, and tan carpeting :)

Raimbow...hehe...Didn't the Gemini crew get in a little to much trouble with thier Rainbow topics, Frankie? Outta be great for father's day.

I love it!!!

Sabrina, Frank--did you get my e-mail? lol.

I am glad that they are finally painting it. The station looked like*****this past year

Somehow, I have a feeling that Frank already knew of me approving this. Anything to bring more code 7s and to scare away code 45s. Ugh.:)

Pete says he thinks the lavender is a primer.

Pete, I hope you're right about that!

Hehehe...your right Dan...More code 7's for all. I'm not complaining!

I loved the Gem100!!
Wish me luck for LiveE.

OH HELL YEAH!  CODE SEVENS ROCK THE GEMINI!  I kinda guessed you would like it Dan,

And about this comment...

Well, sure its niceo to have bright colors where you work, but do they have to be that ugly?  I mean if it was one color, great!  But I'm going to stare tat like six or so colors everytime I look at the damn thing.

The speaker thing...yes, there is a speaker right next to the entrance to Gemini, but its not that loud, you can barely hear it, even when you are at the entrance.  But you said something about listening to music while riding?  Thats what I'm questioning.

I don't care what they do to the gemini, just as long as they don't computerize it...i mean hell, there is a reason its the GG (not sure if anyones going to understand that), but I mean think of all the problems then if it was computerized...oh dear!

If you look at it the colors kind of match the Jr Gemini station now.  I hope that purple is primer because the roof needs to go.  I also hope they put the banners back up so it still has that Gemini feel to it.

Can anyone explain all of the Code jargon and "gg" for all of us non-gemini crew members?
