The rumor of a coaster erected in between MS and Gemini in 2002 seems false now that the Lighthouse Point was released. The pictures on CP's site indicate that this will use the land from the old Camper Village to the old boneyard. So the only way for the coaster to fit would be if it ran horizontally to MS and Gemini instead of being like Magnum and run vertically.

Dave are you talking about the gate over by the Gemini lift hill. If you that's an employee gate. That gate would take you right over to the restrooms located between the Gemini, and the tracks for the Cedar Point and Lake Erie RailRoad.

That's an intriguing idea - I think they will need another gate in the back of the park if Camper Village / Lighthouse Point becomes as well tenanted as the other resorts. It would be a very long walk to the Magnum gate, and those little resort busses can't handle it all.

I like the idea of a 5th gate. VERY easy access for the new LightHouse Point. But of course, I enjoy the coaster theory cause. I could see something going in there... lift up towar the parking lot and having it's cours behing Gemini. Could be interesting.

It is still an employee gate, but you have to wlk in the parking lot and down along side the trailer there, and show them your ID, AND BE IN FULL UNIFORM, or they wont let you in.

A 5th Gate would be a very, very good idea. It is a long walk going to Mean Streak first thing in the morning. I really don't forsee a coaster there (Near Gemini). I would put my money on a coaster on the Boardwalk.
