Gemini Makeover

Don't most/all of the newer coasters, no matter who the manufacturer is, employ the wheels?

There have been some really good points in this thread.

First and foremost I want to get this out of the way.

Gemini is my fav coaster of all time. Sure, it's not the best by any stretch but I have so many memories on that thing.

I love the finish line idea, Cedar Fair needs to run with that. I lol'ed at that as soon as I read it.

The station does need a makeover, I agree. Like others have said, aim the hose at the ceilings once in awhile.

The seats also need attention. I would use the same seat material that is on Magnum as it's a bit wider in the hips.

New lights on the lift hill would help out too. Just change the bulbs to LED could also be an option.

Any updates would be more than welcome to my favorite coaster of all time.

Also, are the trim breaks really necessary in the final helixes?

Yes. Have you ever had a ride on it when the trims were off? It is fairly painful.

^Especially if the train stops outside of the station when the trims are off.

Actually I guess not.

An official finish line would be nice.

I always thought it would look so much better if the supports were painted white and the tracks were painted red and blue. The white supports would look awesome with a bunch of multicolored flood lights under them. It'd match really nice with the rest of the midway.

I used to think Gemini would look good painted white, but if the park would have to then maintain that look for years to come. They do a good job keeping up on Bluestreak's paint.
