Gemini Goblet Pitch Minus the Goblet

I went there this weekend to find that the Gemini Goblets have been replaced with a laminated board with holes in it. The concept is the same. They did change the colors of the winning items so a red isn't the top prize. The game seems much harder now. One key thing to point out is that the all loosing balls fall through the game board. With the old game you could use the loosing balls to your advantage to win. The game op's said that the Goblet Pitch up front is still around although to my knowledge you cannot use your Joe Cool pass to double your amount of games there. Joe Cool people must have been winning to much....

We won a bit more often at the Gemini Goblet pitch. I though that the cups were changed with different cups at the beginning of the season, but I may be wrong.

The balls staying on the playfield can make winning easier as you can not only bounce balls off of others, the balls in losing spots will increase the chances of you landing in a winning spot in a particular area that you are aiming for.

I think CP will say it is easier to collect the balls after they fall through.

I miss the softball toss that was at the Gemini Games Area earlier this year. I found it easier than the one at the Games Area on the main midway. Maybe that's why it got removed!

I had never played the goblet toss until my last visit to the park.

The Joe cool club gave me twice the number of balls. I spent 6 bucks before I won a small prize and the young lady I was with one a large prize, back to back. It is all a random chance.

I don't usually play for the prize, I play for the thrill of winning. Many times I have just given away my prizes to a little kid.

At coastermania I won a Big Ugly yellow bear from the ring toss. It barely fit in the car with the rest of our group so we ended giving it to this little girl in a high chair at a 24 hour restaurant near the causeway.
I thought the dad was going to have a heart attack when he saw that it was actually 3 times the size of his daughter. She was thrilled!

I suck at every midway game, including skee ball. Someone needs pot post game strategies to make a winner out of this loser on her next trip.

Wise men say, a world without coasters is monotony.

I think James K. meant the daughter was thrilled... That or a typo.

Yes, the daughter was thrilled, the father was not so thrilled. Good thing they had a Van...
