Gemini backwards rumor

Before everyone gets their pantyhose in a bunch, I know that Screamscape is not exactly a reliable source.

The lastest rumor on Screamscape is that CP is planning on operating one train backwards on Gemini, a la PKI's racers, for 2005.

I am no engineering buff, so is it even possible?

I don't know about this rumor, but I'd rather keep Gemini the way it is. I mean, Gemini is supposed to give you the race type of atmosphere, and if your going backwards, you won't be able to see where your going. It'd be neat if they had a different ride that did that, but I wouldn't like seeing an old ride being changed like that. I think it'd be possible though, just tinker with the trains a bit, and throw them on backwards.

Gemini is great how it is. PKI's Racer's split for a little bit, and I think that's a way they could do the backwards thing. However with Gemini's both being together until that last helix which is only for a short time I think it would take away from the thrill factor. Nothing like giving a person on the train you're passing a high five.

Gemini should stay as it is.

I remember people suggesting this before. I believe in order for one train to be backwards, they would have to modify the anti rollbacks on the backwards train.

Gemini is 25 years old and don't you think they would have tryed already? I think that it maybe tryed just for the fact that they may never of thought about that. HAHA I find it to all be false.
