gemini aging (27) lol

i took my family to soak city last week and noticed that gemini was not racing the entire day. also, later in the day, one of the trains was stuck on the lift and everyone was brought down.

does anyone now about this? if so, what was wrong.

Well, something probably didn't work right. I mean, I'm no ride op. ;)

But seriously, these things happen every now and again. I've seen just about every ride get stuck somewhere at some point (minus TTD ;) ) and sometimes it just crums out on people. No biggie.

you are right about all coaster getting stuck.

but it is only fun if you are stuck on dragster.

The older the better. This is still one of my favorite coasters at the park!

Usually in the morning they only use one side. They end up opening later in the day. I've been stuck on dragster a few times.

^^^Which is why I dont ride Gemini first thing in the morning. Only running one side, what fun is that?

Is it just me, or do they seem to always run the red side when they're running only one side?

No I've seen them run Blue Train in the mornings before.

In the evening lately they have been shutting down red and running blue.

I was there the other day and in the morning they only had the blue train running, then later on they opened the red side.

TTD has been stuck twice on the very top

Believe me, we know... and for the record, it's been stuck more times than 2.

Pete, I noticed only Blue Train running at 9:00 yesterday (from Magnum,, now that I think of it...). As for the morning, I think red was running before blue. *** Edited 8/11/2005 1:49:22 PM UTC by Cedar Dan***

I don't believe you've been stuck on Dragster. TTD has only stopped up there twice and only one of them had passengers.

Actually, I believe its happened five times.

I rode Gemini for the first time in years yesterday and I was surprised at how much fun it was. I don't think the coaster is aging at all in a bad sense. All coasters break down and if we are going by that standard then Top Thrill Dragster is around 74 by now.
