Don't you dare go painting Gemini any color! Or Mean Streak for that matter... ;)
Edit: or Cedar Creek Mine Ride...

Can't we paint Mean Streak with oh...I don't know.....kerosene? And then light a few matches? :)

I was very suprised of how good (and fun) a coaster Gemini was, when I first rode it (that would be on my first and so far only trip to CP back in June ´05 - still adding to that trip report once in a while, I´ll post it soon ;P) - It was just so fun to "duel" against my buddy, he got to choose train color, and I would win each time anyway, so damn fun hehe! I think I rode it 20 times or so during my stay, which lasted 8 days. Felt like Mean Streak had triangular wheels on the way down the first drop - man, my back was hurt after that one (and only) ride. But Gemini rocked!!! Fun factor score 10!
It's strange that everyone is saying the helix's are intense, I've always thought of them as the most boring part of the ride. I've ridden it plenty of times but maybe I've always had the trim breaks
I like the lift hill more :P
Summer was made for a Cedar Point day~
Back of the train is the absolute best way to go. I know when my cousin and I were there on the Saturday of Labour Day weekend 2005 we went on it twice in a row, then again a few other times in the day with no wait. We did the back seat 3 out of 4 times I believe. We had a nice chat with the ride op who was at the back of the station. He told us about the walk up and down the lifthill that morning. He seemed like a nice guy. *sigh* Good times.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
