Gemini 100 minus me...

Hi...

I know I started the whole Gemini 100 thing a while back. Heck, I don't even remember when I posted about it. But due to car troubles beyond my control, I can't make it. I feel really crappy about it since I've been trying to build this up for so long and now that we're one day away I have to bow out. I want to wish you all good luck. You'd better get all 100 for me. I want to thank Dan for taking charge with the website and making a little event blow up into something a lot of people are talking about. And thanks to Joe E. and Kelly for really getting me excited about it early this year.

I know you guys can do it, even though the weather isn't looking picture perfect. Just remember all the tips Joe and Dan have been posting. Especially about holding on. You really should. The Gemini was jerking a bit when I was there a couple weeks ago. Not holding on will put you at the mercy of those little jolts, and after 50+ rides you'll really start feeling those little bumps. And drink plenty of water!

I can't wish you all good luck enough, and I'm sorry I can't be a part of it.

Also count me out of Gemini 100... My Mom is going in for surgery and I lost my ride to the park. :( I am going to try to make it to the park later this week and hope to try to meet up with some of you. I wish everyone the best of luck to make it to 100.

The heat was one thing I was ready for. Who got squirted? I know I got Red Garter Rob, CP Irvine and Hooper.
