Gemini 100 Caravan
Well, for all of you participating in the Gemini 100, how about a caravan to the park that morning? I don't know how many directions people will be coming from, but I'll be in Columbus. Let's just start out with people who would be interested. We've got time to come up with a final plan, we'll start by finding out who all is interested. We can come up with a plan later. So if interested, respond with where you're coming from. I would say e-mail me, but I rarely check my e-mail. (my work has hotmail blocked)

I would join in on the caravan, but I think my brother and I are just going to cruise up I-75 as fast as we can to try and make it for breakfast. We live in Dayton, so it's not picnic of a ride at 5 in the morning, but we gotta do what we gotta do.

More or less everyone just drives together. You set up times to be at specific places along the route, and others join in. An example would be the Corvette Caravans every year to Bowling Green, KY. As you drive along, people join in, and when you get to the destination, everyone rolls in together. We also do it in my car club when we go to the DSM Shootout in Norwalk. That's when they're really fun, when you all are driving the same cars.

Well, it looks like right now RaptorJo and I are planning on meeting at the Kingman Drive In Theatre about 7 am, at least that's the last I heard from her. Still sound good, Jo? Anyways, Joe, where are you going to be coming from? OSU Campus? You're more than welcome to meet us at the Drive in if you like, or we can figure something else out. I think our route will be 23 to 98 to 4. Anyone else wanting to join in along the route is more than welcome.

Anyways, it takes between 1 1/2 to 2 hours, depending on how fast you're willing to drive, to get from the Kingman to the main parking lot. I've made it in 1 hour 15 minutes before, but I have a fast car, and I like to use every single pony I have under the hood. :) What time are we meeting at Friday's? Say we meet at 9:00, leaving at 7 would work out just about right. We'll just base it on that.

Jeff (ucsigep) check your email...sounds good to me. They also redid all of 98 to almost Bucyrus,
so we'll have nice smooth blacktop the whole way,
the only bad thing is last week there still wasnt any edge lines....that would be a BEAR driving home at night. I will safely assume Jeff you know what my truck looks like, if not trust me, you will.
