Gemini

I live in Western NY so I ony make it up to Cedar Point a couple times a year but every time I've gone the last 2 years I've noticed that both trains weren't running on Gemini. Does it not race anymore? Only on busy days? I've been terribly disappointed because it's the whole charm of Gemini. I just want to know what's going on with Gemini. Thanks!

They run both trains on busier days.

It always runs both sides when I am there. Even on uncrowded days!

Gemini typically races from noon to eight, it may race longer then that on busier days. I have yet to be at the park (and Ive been on some pretty dead days) and not see Gemini racing midday.

Touchdown is correct. It races from around noon to about eight. I was there last Thursday for Maverick ride night and it was not that busy at all, but they did race Gemini from noon till about 3:30 or 4 only because it was so slow of a day. But they did race her.

We've just returned from visiting Monday 8/24 and Today. On both days only the red trains were running on Gemini and the wait was quite long. The word my husband heard up in the station is that with employees returning to college and such, they are really only staffing to run one side of the train on weekdays. Some of the other rides seemed to have reduced staffs as well.

I don't see them race when I go, they usually only load the blue train.When I head to the point, Magnum only loads half of the train. Even oncrowded days.

Again what time of the day are you by Gemini? If its not in the middle of the day (noonish to eightish) it will not be racing.

Gemini races almost everyday of the season up until now. Staffing is so low throughout the park that some days only one side will run. On a normal day at 11:30 is about when its scheduled to start racing and its supposed to stop at 8 or whenever the crowds disappear from that area.
