Geauga Lake or Six Flags?

The Aurora Park has undergone alot of changes, some for the best & some for the worst, but overall which do you think was better, & what could Geauga Lake do to inprove their park?
I havent been to Geauge Lake Since the change, well i havent been to Six Flags in about 2 years, even though i live about 25 miles west from Geauga lake, im thinking of going though
I can't imagine anything ran by Cedar Fair being worse than Six Flags. I was just at Geagua Lake and it seemed really nice and the staff was very friendly...something you rarely get at a Six Flags park (except maybe SFGAdv)
yeah.... but its not a perfect park yet, what do you think Ceda Fair could do to improve the park?

I'm the same as Joe, but I live 3 hours away. Haven't been to Six Flags in 2 years, and haven't gone to Geauga Lake.
Geauga Lake isnt perfect, & i could ride my bike to Geauga Lake, which is why i am going to make a trip to the park for the first time in 4 years sometime this season... im about 20 minutes from Geauga Lake & 1 hour 15 minutes from Cedar Point...
& since Geauga Lake has all that room from the wildlife section, Cedar Fair has alot of room to expand this inst a major Amusement Park
omg!

huh?
Both have their problems, but i think Gearga lake takes it they have done a lot to the rides like retracking them and stuff. Also less down time on the rides this year then last. If the rides do go down GL has them up by the end of the day most of the time but when SF was running the park the rides would be down for days.

Goodbye 2005 season!!!!

I don't know. I've been to Geauga Lake back when it was owned by Six Flags, and I really didn't care for it that much. The staff seemed super rude at times, and you could just tell the place was falling apart. I'm happy that Cedar Fair aquired it, and I hope to see many positive changes...although it may take some time.
I went there before it was SFWOA and it was Just Six Flags Ohio, and Sea World was still Sea World Cleveland.

It was recently after the transition from Geauga Lake to Six Flags. The park was brand new, and it was very nice. Some of the rides still said Geauga Lake on them. There were still garbage bins that had Geauga Lake on them.

The park was very nice. None of the rides were down, but the waterpark was too small at the time, and it was too crowded.

The Six Flags was a huge improvement from the old Geauga Lake. That place was a dump and it's rides were not well kept.

I haven't been to the new GL, but it seems much nicer according to me. However, I am disappointed that the only really nice Wildlife park in the area is closed.

I feel ya buddy
I would select Funtime. (but SF before the SWO purchase wasn't too bad either).
