Geauga lake display at silverdome.

If anybody is interested, there is a nice display for geauga lake at the camper and rv show this weekend at the pontiac silverdome in michigan.

The display has lots of nice pics of the park, and a really cool rendering of the waterpark when it is completed.

The point of the display is to advertise the campground and to win two free nights at the campground or hotel.

Good thinking... that's reaching out there. See, proper marketing this year will make a serious difference.

I wish i could make it up there this weekend to see the display. I would like to see what it will look like when it is finshed. I bet it will look pretty nice.

I'm going to try Geauga Lake for the first time this year. I have a good question. I want to stay near GL and need suggestions for a hotel with transportation. If I'm not mistaken, there are no on-premises hotels?

Nope, the Best Western I think down the street is your best bet if you stay over night I believe. I have a feeling that will change within the next couple of years however.

There is a geauga lake owned hotel right down the street, I dont not know if they offer shuttle service that SF offered however. Also the official site www.geaugalake.com has a lodging page with thier hotel, campground, or perferred local hotels.

I do know that if you stay at the hotel or campground, there is no charge for parking at the park.
