Gay Day

Anyone planning on going to CP on Gay Day/Father's Day? We will be there because we go every Sunday. I have a feeling that it will be very busy.

Cedar Point has said in the past that holidays do not have a significant effect on attendence. Sundays are typicaly the least busy day from friday through monday to go.

Gay Day/Fathers Day in the past isn't usually too busy. This year may be a bit more busy than usual since the ACE Coaster Con begins on Sunday.

I will be there because I am there every Sunday. and I am Gay. Lol.

I'm so happy to see that CP also participates in a Gay Day along with some of the other larger parks across the country. I researched a little about it and it's unfortunate that people had tried to protest last year's event.

I know this isn't the place to be political so I'm going to keep my mouth shut. But someone needs to give an overview of how the event went, I'm curious.

The park doesn't participate in anything. It's not a sanctioned event. It's not a sactioned event at most parks, including Disney.

Of course, if you're gay, I suppose every day you go would be gay day.

You're right, word of mouth I'm sure is the smartest was to go. "Every day would be gay day" good call. I like your humor.

I don't see the big deal about all this Gay day stuff. I'm a christian and don't believe in homosexuality. I think it's wrong. I also think that the media has to do with all these problems. Having gay people on reality shows, and other things of that nature. But hey, if u want en empty day at CP go on Gay day. Nobody will be there.
