Gathering Weekend: Update and Event 1 Sign Ups

Okay, here's what's going on. It turns out that MM will happen the Thursday and Friday before the weekend. I'm hoping this will work with us rather than against us.

There will be two events and a lunch scheduled for Saturday. Sunday will just be an old fashioned style meeting with the exception of a luncheon.

So here's the info on Event one. This event has been dubbed "Season of the Witch" and will presumably be the more "intense" event of the Weekend. Ever see the old contests where folks try to hold there hands on the car? This event will be very similar to that.

Season of the Witch:

-Object: To have the most consecutive rides on Witch's Wheel (please read rules at bottom).

-Time: 12:00 PM-?

-Place: Soak City Pavilion (sign in)

-Sign Up/Questions: please direct any questions to either Kally or Me. To sign up please send an E-mail to Me or Kally with your name, and CP Place (for our verication) name.

-Prize: first place winners will get a Millennium Force poster.

-Rules:

1. Guests who get sick (throw up) or brake will be disqualified (loose).

2. To be eligible for the prize you must sign in.

3. Non Placers are allowed to sign up ONLY if accompanied by a Placer.

4. You must head all of Cedar Point's rules. Anyone who is caught disobeying any of Cedar Point's rules WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND REPORTED to Cedar Point Security.

5. All rides must be consecutive.

Legal Notice: Upon entering "Season of the Witch" you agree to and acknowledge that you are in a good medical condition and that you are doing this of your own will. You also agree and acknowledge that Cedar Point, Guide to the Point, "Magnum is Sinking!", and "Kally" are not responsible for any results forming from "Season of the Witch".

THIS EVENT IS NOT ENDORSED BY GUIDE TO THE POINT OR CEDAR POINT!

First of all... nobody has any business calling anything "GTTP" anything because it's not your place to do so. "GTTP" is a trademark of POP World Media, LLC. That aside, I don't want anyone organizing anything with the name because it associates the site with something that I have no control over.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but you'll have to call it something else.

Futuristic bow-wow... do the dog catcher!
I'm sorry Jeff. I was using it as a reference. I shouldn't have assumed anything. Consider the name changed!

Hope to see you there!

Really I think the only reason we call it the GTTP Weekend is that it is only people from GTTP. Thats all we meant by it. Sorry :)

Were thinking of names, but if anyone has a sugestion, please tell us! Thanks :-)
