Does anyone have any information or a good guess about how much track will be put together around December 20th? Or when all the track will be together completely?
They have had some great weather to work in so far. Weather here in Northern Ohio in November has been mainly dry and not too cold. That should be helping their progress.

I am impressed with the behind the scenes coverage of GateKeeper, both from Cedar Point, and Pointbuzz. Love the updates, thanks to everyone involved.
GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
The temperatures have relatively been below average. However, every weekend the temps usually get into the upper 50s, lower 60s. It's almost December and where I live south of Cleveland, we've had 0.2 inches of snow. Looks like its going to be another warm winter so I'm excited to see the progress.

I want to make a short documentary on building a roller coaster. Including everything from planning to the actual day it takes off.
I am so excited we get to see the progress! It just makes me even more excited to ride in May!

That would make a phenomenal documentary, but it would be tough to pull off to get that kind of access. Gatekeeper would have been a fascinating project because of the end of the Kinzel era (when it was probably planned) and the beginning of the Ouimet era (when the final plans of the project went through). Gatekeeper was unique in that it probably spanned two boss hogs. There really isn't something else that's comparable. Six Flags doesn't really have a traditional flagship part like Cedar Point and Disney is just Disney.

The show Build it Bigger kinda has a something like this about Griffon at BGE. I thought it was pretty cool. It doesn't really go too in depth, but it was still a good show to say the least.
I believe it's an old webcam relocated so it's at the same URL as the previous. I do love the angle though! :
Yeah, they're a couple of TV shows that show some of the construction progress. But I want to go even further with it.
Stop with the nested quoting. We can scroll and read a conversation. We don't need the same text repeated over and over again.
