Gatekeeper Construction

So I guess they are soon going to move/remove the Space Spiral. But when will they begin work on Gatekeeper? Obviously the true front gate area will be after the park is closed for the season.

I know they are going to start with footers by the end of this month.

Site work has begun with the removal of Disaster Transport and soon to be Space Spiral. There isnt going to be a whole lot to see until it goes vertical which I think will be in December if I remember correctly. Watching footers go in is about as exciting as, well, watching concrete dry.

Except concrete doesn't dry ;)

Good point. Not sure what I was thinking. Paint dries, grass grows and concrete cures. :)

From what I remember from the video, they said footers will start October 1st then track will start arriving mid October. They said it'll be done in February and testing will begin in March if I remember correctly.
