Gatekeeper?

I saw the youtube video and it makes it look like once the ride reaches the end it goes backwards for the return trip. People are saying the ride doesnt do that. Is the video misleading or does the ride go backwards?

Oh for the love of pete. The ride does not go backwards.

Why is that a dumb question? The way they edited the video makes it look like there is a return trip

Try the other videos.

The video is misleading, yes. Also, see the Project 2013 section where this is being discussed extensively.

Who cares if it goes backwards or not. Problem I'm seeing is it looks like it is going to take out the bus/trailer parking lot. I'll loose my free Premium Parking when I pull the boat with us so we can park there.....oh the horror!

I love this new coaster :) I feel bad that the ride already has so many complaints, as in the CP 2013 thread. I like how you fly through the two towers.....hmmmm

I think it makes a great entrance statement and welcomes guests into the park. It doesn't have to go over the lake to be a perfect addition in my book. I hope it will be under 54" though so more smaller kids can ride.

I hope so too, but doubt it.

Ya know looking at the POV I think it would be kewl to have a big pile of quary rocks at the bottom of the first drop with a close call as you swoop over them. Picture turning over and looking/heading straight for a big pile of boulders pulling away at the last second before impact. Maybe even have them built into a gulley so you swoop through them below and on each side.
