While watching the live video cams last night, I noticed GK stuck just at the top before cresting over. This was around 6:20pm. At first I thought it was the usual 'stop the ride, get the (recording) cell phone' routine, as I saw a operator walk up the side, but noticed after about 10 min., it was still stopped. Mechanical issue? IMO that's an awkward and unsafe spot for an operator to have to go. Any idea what happened or how long it took to resume the ride?

I doubt it was running at all last night. It was rainy, windy and cold.

I edited the post, but saw a ride opp. walk up the side after it stopped. But I do see your point about the weather. Maybe this was a routine test/ fire drill in hopes of it running later, if weather allowed.

I'm not sure if people were on it or not but it was stuck up there for a while. All I know is the ride up would only have gone up there if it was absolutely necessary. It was extremely windy and I'm sure with the rain the steps were slippery. Not very safe at all.
