Gate opening time

For those of you that have been to CP this year, did the gates open at 9 or 10? Does anyone know if this has any chance of changing sometime in the year?(I hope so!) I'm predicting that befor 10 everyday the gates are going to be packed with lines and people...not to mention the parking lot

When did the parking lot open?

Expect that? You mean opening a whole whopping 5 minutes before the park opens is the best they can do :(. I hope it's the other way around where the latest will be 9:55.

Oh yeah I forgot about that... But it didn't matter we got in early since most rides were down... Also I noticed that they didn't scan my pass, I just flashed my pass and was in.

Did MF also open at 10? Did the rest open at 11, or everything at 10? How did Raptor look too? Was anyone shocked after riding MF for the first time in a while?

Since I have done the gates and 10 and rides at 10 the last two mornings I actually like it. It gives me an extra hour sleep and I don't have to wait to ride. The only problems come in when the rides aren't ready by ten.

Mantis seems to continually have a problem opening up on time.

Mantis has only been on time once that I can remember. My brother and I got 4 rides in less than 30 mins. We beat everybody by running as fast as we could.

MF 2001 - Double digits already.. and that's only the second day. :)

I thought it was bad that they were stacking with 2 trains, but oh well, it was only opening day. I don't blame the crew as much as I blame those stupid guests that don't understand how to stand up.

Oh by the way Rob, I was waiting in line at the marina gate and I'm pretty sure I heard you say something about 269 laps on Millennium Force. I knew it was you by your signature on this website. I didn't say anything to you though because I was kind of cranky from only getting an hour of sleep after prom. I was with 3 of my friends that insisted on going through the ticket line and not waiting for me in the season pass line, but they actually did wait inside the gate.

I think the gates will open at 9 on Saturday. At least my schedule tells me to report at 9, and every other day at 10.

Glad everyone is enjoying the beginning of this season. I wont be up for at least another month. :(

did they open gates at 9 or 10 on sat tyler???
going up next sat and would love to know!

As of now, it is my understanding that gates will open at 9 on Saturdays, and 10 every other day. This could very easily change throughout the season I'm sure.

I am not sure if opening the gates at 10 am...will last very long...I felt like sheep waiting there with the small amount of people when I went a few Tuesdays ago...I can't imagine how BUSY....CRAZY it will be once the summer kicks in... :(
