Going back to the first oil crisis of 1973-74, it will affect the ones that travel some distance who go multiple times a month, but the people that go once or twice a year it's not going to affect them. Seeing as the former tend to be season pass holders, there will be maybe a slight drop in the per cap,
I haven't had a gas car in over 10 years. I'd say I haven't gone to a gas station, but that's pretending I haven't rented a car when traveling. But I don't miss stopping to get gas.

Higher gas prices could also benefit Cedar Point, being a regional park. There may be folks who were planning a long road trip this summer who will instead look to a more local destination to keep things in their budget.
We're driving from Michigan to Florida this summer, and while I over-budgeted for gas assuming prices would be higher this summer, we are quickly approaching that target, and will possibly exceed it unless the Iran situation eases. If things continue to escalate over there, we may have to rethink our plans.
