Games and attractions at the Town Hall musuem

I'm writing something park-related and was wondering if anybody remembers exactly which old games and oddities are in the museum? I'm trying to think of the names of some of them.

I remember there's the old baseball game, and there's some kind of derby race. Is there a Fortune reader in there?

Anyone?

I don't know the names off hand, but i'm heading there tomorrow so i'll see if i can get them. Off the top of my head there's two derby games, two palm readers, there's definitely a fortune teller, and i believe there's a fooseball table type game. There are also four or five of those nickel movie things. I'll check for specifics tomorrow.

Don't know if it's still in there or not, but the organ from the miniature carousel that used to be in Kiddieland (I think it went to Valleyfair!) was on display there at one time.

This is me speaking from acquired knowledge. I used to work in Games and have probably collected revenue from the Town Hall games more than anyone I can think of. (Isn't that sad by the way? That we actually went around collecting revenue from a bunch of games that have stickers saying "display only" on them?)

Here are the games I can think of:
-Grandma's Fortune
-Another fortune machine directly across from Grandma.
-Palm reader
-"Test your strength" game
-Play the Derby (x2)
-Soccer game that I believe is titled "Football"
-Baseball game which IIRC features names of players from way back in the day
-Antique scale (x2)
-There are a total of 4 "crank" machines. Three of them are connected and I believe they are titled "Muto-Cranks". The other one is something like "Screenplay Viewer", but I know that is not the exact title.

I'm sure I'm missing one or two, but this may be all of them. Most of them are actually functional despite what the stickers may say. However, most of the fortune machines appear to be dysfunctional because they do not give out fortune cards (because they don't make them anymore).

If you have any other questions about the games feel free to ask or send me a PM

Don't know if I'll need actual pictures...I'll let you know, though I may pop in at the park myself tomorrow anyway.

Are we here at Pointbuzz going to see your work? :)

Let's Get Weird.

When it's finished in another couple months or so, I'd love to share...maybe with a few people who express interest, anyway.

There was a big model of the Mean Streak made of toothpicks at one time. I don't know if it's still there. That always amazed me.
