Future for Castaway Bay

IMHO... Castaway bay was obviously put in place to give them a niche in the waterpark market and also to try and revive the Radisson property, as I'm sure it was not producing good revenues with the saturation of rooms available on Rte 250.

Should they expand it??? I think it is fine the way it is for now. It serves a purpose, and will not be able to compete with Kalahari....I'd rather they put the money into sprucing up the midways and existing infrastructure. Improving quality of the existing product would be far more useful to me than another tube slide hanging off the side of the building.

Still are.

Oh, so you were just talking about the parking lot, and not the open plot of land on the other side of Cleveland Rd.? That makes more sense now. So basically, they don't own anymore along Cedar Point Dr. than I already knew they did...I have an idea that would definitely draw some heated remarks around here, but if acquisition of land weren't a problem, it would certainly be something that I think would help the resort end.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Yeah, all that land to the south of Cleveland Road is owned by other people. That's not to say Cedar Fair couldn't buy it, but they don't own it now.

Does anyone know if Castaway bay will honor the platnium passes next season as entry to the water park or will they still offer the 50% discount like they are now?
