Funny Cedar Fair Police/Security Incidents you experienced or filmed while at the Parks

I saw this video on youtube (link below) from Canada's Wonderland and thought it would be interesting to see what everyone has seen in the parks such as fights and people getting kicked out for stupidity. Share your stories and video's I'd love to see them! haha

Park Ops 2014 - I am not blacklisted!

I've had a couple of not-so-funny incidents with Cedar Point police...

This didn't happen at CP but at King's Island I had a run in with their police many years ago. I was there with a group of friends and one young lady was embarassed to see what happened to her after getting off the log ride. Her white shirt with no bra left nothing to the imagination.

I was being a gentleman and offered my shirt to her to wear until she dried out a bit but it wasn't long before a security person approached me and asked me to put my shirt back on. I politely explained the situation but he was insistent that I put my shirt on. I became a little more animated when I tried to argue that my bare chest was not going to be as offensive to some as her apparent bare chest and that argument fell flat as well.

He offered to give us directions to the nearest gift shop where she would be welcome to purchase a shirt. We had no desire to plunk down $20+ so she just gave everyone a show for about an hour.

Nice! haha all you tried to do was help and be nice. Do you visit any of the other parks?

I was on the ferris wheel with some of my friends. When it stopped we were all looking down because there was the cutest baby in the bucket under us. The baby spit up and i noticed one of the workers looking in our bucket. When we got off security stopped us and all my friends left me alone to talk to them. I got yelled at for a baby spitting up, it was a good laugh afterwards though.

We were at Cedar Point a few years ago with the extended family and some of them brought a picnic lunch. Instead of splitting up for lunch, we decided to buy a Large Pizza at Hurricane Hannah's and bring it out to the Picnic Pavilion.

Upon reaching the exit gates we were stopped by Cedar Point Police!! The officer said to me "Once you exit the park with that pizza you may not return to the park with it".

I then told the Cedar Point officer, "Oh, ok, we plan to eat the entire pizza in the Picnic Pavilion with family".

Sorry this wasn't a Security Incident that we filmed but it sure as heck was a "Funny Cedar Fair Police" experience!! heh heh :)

DB - should have told him you plan on bringing it back in in small bites and leaving it in a bathroom.

Goodbye MrScott

John

I ended up becoming friends with one of the police sergeants thanks to my incident in 2008.

It was not fun, and not something I care to elaborate on using this forum.

What may seem funny to some people may not be funny to those involved in an incident for quite some time.

John McCain: The Ride

Being Mavericky since 2007!

During Halloweekends I saw a cabin of teenagers on Skyride throw a stack (100+) park maps out of the cabin onto the parade route. Cedar Point Police were fast to respond, later I saw the teens being searched on the midway and the escorted out the marina gate!

I also saw a CP Police Officer jump across some picnic tables next to the round up and then tackle a guy running down the midway by stockade refreshments and fought with the guy eventually handcuffing him, taking him around back

We saw this too! We were watching the Halloweekends parade and we were wondering "where are all these brochures coming from?". Funny thing was, there were police walking in the parade in front of a band playing and watched it all happen. The police got on their radios and left the parade to follow the cabin.

Cedar Point, Americas rip- rockin', high flyin', sky defyin', record breakin' roller coast

One year (I won't say what year), I played the role of Snoopy at Planet Snoopy. The dressing room was across the path from the police station. Well, one day, the other Snoopy walked out right when the police officers were lining up for their uniform expectation. So what does Snoopy do? Line up with them. The head police officer said: "So I suppose we have a K-9 unit on duty today."
