Funny Bird

In June, there was this funny bird that landed at a lagoon on the Point. My team leader spotted it and thought it was a monkey or a penguin. Dn't ask. She was weird. The team leader of Area 2 group utility called it a "Seaowlguin:" a cross between a sea gull, an owl, and a penguin.

I don't know why I mentioned those last two things.

It was a kind of fat bird with a long yellow feather sticking out of its head. There was a thing in the Sandusky Register about the birds since a bunch of them landed at Put-In-Bay. I want to know what type of birds they are. I think they migrated from Canada and stayed in Sandusky for a little while. Can anyone give me more info on these birds?
