Funniest WT thing you've heard

While on line to ride WT Thursday noticed a guy in line who had a HUGE (taste great & less filling) stomach. I said to my friend "I have a funny feeling he's not going to fit in the seat" Yup, I was right, a couple trains later this same guy got up and said loud to his friends who were waiting on the next train, "I can't ride, my shoulders are too wide, the harness won't go down, it's my big shoulders!"

I don't know Jo, the funniest thing I heard was on opening day with UCSIGEP. "That tower sways too much, I mean look at it shake. I remember the last ride that swayed like that and it fell down in the off season." A classic none the less.:)

The swaying towers really do a number on a few quests. When I was in line for Wicked Twister, this guy and his girlfriend were in front of me. She noticed the towers swaying, said it didn't look safe, and got out of line. As the guy was leaving, he looked at me and rolled his eyes. Not only were people leaving the line ( Hey, less wait time for me ) but almost every five minutes you would hear "Wow! Look at that thing sway!" It's funny that people actually think that an amusement park would build something that is unsafe.

"I heard Wicked Twister gives you brain damage."

Sigh..............

Non Wicked Twister related, but heard in the queue line... "Cedar Point just got bought out by Pepsi.. that's why the pop prices are so high."

It's always amusing to hear people freak out about the sway. I've stoped trying to explain to people that they are supposed to do that, because let's face it, the GP usually isn't very bright.

There may be some truth to that. They use duct tape all over the park.

The first time I was going to ride WT this year I just stood at the entrance and looked at it a bit.
This 50-year-old red neck was also looking at it beside me, and he turned to me and said "I ain't goin' on that it looks like it'll snap off wit' me on it" then he laughed this hoarse histarical laugh with a nice set of teeth, lol. Good times.

After watching countless train after train get dispatched, I can honestly say seeing people's heads getting whipped back after listening to the Spiel makes my day. Oh, that and the oh-so-famous "Launching in 3-2- *WHOOSH*.......1.

Why would the say stay forward in the auto-speil? Or is it just a joke I'm not in on. Seems like every joke is...

Even though this is non Wicked Twister related I was walking down the midway in my uniform with my badge and staff hat on and people stopped and asked mne if I worked here. the funniest thing is this happened numerous times.

Me and my friend were sitting on a bench waiting for my dad and my sister to get off the Midway Carousel and we were sitting next to this fat guy. And his kid came over, and his dad said "Well did you ride it". And the kid was really dorky and the kid said "No I saw the towers start to sway and I bailed". Some people are just stupid.

In front of us, some kid was saying how the "stoppers" at the top of each spike were added a few weeks ago because the trains almost flew off the track. OK, sure... whatever :)
