Full twistage?

I know that CP says that you twist 450 degrees on wicked twister, but from the pictures it looks like that would only happen if you were shot ALL the way up the towers, which I doubt they would do due to safety. Does anyone know if you actualy twist a full 450 degrees?

Well, if one is in the very front seat (or car) they will get 450 degrees on the forward spike, and about 90 on the back spike. But over the whole ride they get more than that because they launch 5 times.

No matter where you sit, you will get the same amount of rotation. Think of it like this: 1+2+3+4+5 (where 1 represents minimal twist up the first spike, ie. last car, and 5 is maximum twist, ie. front car). The numbers in the middle represent the other rows. Now on the reverse spike, it would be like this: 5+4+3+2+1. where, 5 is now the back car, and 1 is now the front. Now add up the front spike with the rear spike. (1+5, 2+4, 3+3, 4+2, 5+1)...they all add up to 6. Which means no matter where you sit on the car you're going to get the same amount of rotation.

Very well put BirdofPrey00...I like that logic and it actually makes sense...

Yeah, I mentioned in the off-season that you'll get the same amount of twist, but certainly the more continuous twisting will happen at the ends of the train, at one end or the other.

When I thought a little more about it, however, you actually won't get as much twisting in any seat because that theory assumes the train fully climbs the tower. It does not go all the way on the first pass, meaning back seat folks are denied some twist action.

Since you go up the foward spike 3 times, but only go up the back spike twice, those in the front get more twist, right? Am I the only one noticing this? But yeah, for the first 4 times going up a spike (foward, backward, foward, backward) total twist would be the same for all the seats, but the last foward is where the front seats get the extra bit of twist.

I think if you are in the front seat you will get more than the back, but the back will have the most on it's last pass than any other forward pass because the full acceleration of 72 mph will be headed in reverse. Like Jeff said before, the back is going to be the money seat!
On S:UE at least the back gets up almost all the way the 1st pass back and all the way the 2nd. The 1st and 3rd launches forward don't get all the way up, only the 2nd.
