Frontier Trail History Question

Alright the Frontier Trail opened in 71, I am going to assume that Fort Sandusky was constructed the same year, but does anyone know what was in the Fort during the first 10 years?
I know that Gavere Leather has been in that location for 30 years, so who was there before?
Anyone know?

Thanks

I can't remember what, if any shop was there, but I remember(just a little bit) that you were able to go up to the top and look down at the people walking by on the observation deck.

The deck and stairs to the deck are still there, however it's been closed for a while now.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

There was a "Print Shop" in the fort at least in 1974,(confirmed in 1974 annual) but for the most part it was like Crazy Horse described.

I havent been in every shop on the trail, but Ive seen the outside display ones, such as the blacksmiths, gold digging trough, fort tower, glass blowing, etc. But in any of the indoor ones, is there a whiskey still or similar one anywhere in the fronteir trail? Not a real one, but decoration that goes with the theme of old west.

Just wondering :)

I know that they use one during Halloweekends in the petting farm museum. But I'm not sure if it stays there during the year or not.

There used to be one either on the train ride through Boneville or on Paddlewheel Excursions. I don't know if they are still used as a prop though.

Yes there is one on paddlewheel, "swine coolers", and there is also one on Shoot the Rapids. The only real bit of theming on the entire ride!.
