Is it just me, or does the back of the park and frontier trail seem to be neglected? All the new attractions seem to be going in the front of the park, but the back of the park has not seen a new ride/attraction since mean streak. Everytime that I go back there, it is a ghost town because there is nothing new or major back there except for mean streak.
I also think that wicked twister would have fit in great in the back of the park.

Fear the Mullet!
I wouldn't change a thing. I like the peace and quiet back there! I think a new attraction would certainly bring more foot traffic, sure, but I would hope only that it could be done by minimizing tree removal and routing the actual ride (assuming a coaster) away from the area.

Whats wrong with the park being like that. Often times Frontier trail is a place where you can escape the park. I remember back in the day to me it was another world (I am 17). I would think of it as a secret place no one knew about because there wouldn't be a lot of people there. I like it without the big crowd.
If there is going to be a roller coaster or ride added there, I hope its a wooden one. Mean Streak and all the water rides play into the feel of it.

A new ride would be a great addition to frontier town. But I agree that the ride would have to fit in with the surrounding area.

I think it would be cool if they invested a little more imagination into the area, though. Imagine a live-action show where the CP&LE railroad was 'robbed' by bandits...or a band with washboards, cider jugs and banjoes strolling the paths.
I think those two changes alone--nothing more--would bring Playette running back to a park she refuses to visit again.

I say let the trail be. I am still not thrilled by the location of Millenium Force. It encroaches on the last peaceful parcel of land left at the Point. I think Frontier Town got some attention back with Mean Streak and Snake River Falls.
It is cyclical. Now the beach front area is getting some long needed attention. They can't do it all in one year.
