Frontier Merchant

With the up-coming closing weekend sales, Frontier Merchant is being listed as 50% off. I've miss-placed my park map, with actual listings / locations. Where is it located? When we attended one of the recent pass holder appreciation days, the sidewalk sale was going on at Pagoda gift shop. The items were mostly Shoot the Rapids items. Do the sales mostly contain dated(i.e 2014) items? I'm going to get my favorite rides in-one last time, but a sale never hurts either! Thanks in advance!

I can't answer your question but I found it interesting that the CP snow globes I bought for $5 at the Pagoda sale are still on shelves in other gift shops for $25.

The Frontier Merchant is located between the Candy Shoppe and Fort Sandusky Mining Company on Frontier Trail. I believe it's new this year. I can't even remember what kind of merchandise they have.

You sure they took the 10% off of the Guest Appreciation Day sales? It wasn't supposed to apply and they wouldn't even take passes, that I saw..

Yep, all accept for the taffy & hot food deals, the discount was given when I showed my pass.

Don't know where my prior post went? But yes-we got discount (10% off for plat. pass) getting stuff at Pagoda, and picking up the drink bottle & cotton candy. Maybe the guidelines changed as the day progressed.

At Coasters, I got a souvenir bottle which came to $1.07 and I only had $2, so he took my discount so he didn't have to give me 93 cents back. They wouldn't let any other sales be discounted, like candy. The workers said they weren't even allowed to get their employee discounts.

I can't believe those blasted snow globes went for $5! Had to get my youngest one of those earlier in the season as a promise for riding Millennium Force. At least I got my 10%.

By the way, some of them were really bad, really combed those babies over before picking a decent one out. $5 is about right.

Yeah, the snowglobes are a bit more cartoony looking than I would have preferred but we hit that sale table at the right time. Usually for $5 you can maybe get a keychain so it was like "hey kids, want a snowglobe it's now or never".
