Front to back

Does anybody know why the Sky Ride doesn't go all the way to the back of the park? Wouldn't it be awesome to have a the Sky Ride take you all the way from the front of the park to the back. Could you imagine the views you'd be able to get of MF, Magnum & Now TTD in action.

There used to be one. IT was removed to install Iron Dragon.

The Sky Ride doesn't go all the way to the back of the park because....er...well, it DID go all the way to the back of the park when it was installed.

And it isn't that the Sky Ride has become any shorter; it's just that the park has become that much larger!

OK. So it doesn't go all the way to the back anymore. Just think of how cool it would be if it did though. Seeing MF, Magnum, TTD & more in action from above ground. That's why I started this post, to get people to think of how cool that would be.
Because if you only wanted to go half-way it's a nice relaxing way to do it. Plus I was thinking about something once: You got a transport ride taking from the front to half-way through, and then half-way through to the back...I think they should install a monorail that as tall as the skyride to go from the front to the back...now that would be cool.
There is nothing wrong with how the skyride works now. It's kind of nice to get on it at the front of the park and get dropped off near corkscrew and Iron Dragon. It sure beats walking on those hot days and it's also a good view because when you walk that strip the skyride goes over, there really isn't too much to see or do, except the antique cars or cedar downs for rides and there are a couple shops and arcades. However, I still think it's nice the way it is because you can get off your feet for a short time. It would be really neat to have it go front to back in the park. But hey, just take the skyride to the first point, get off and then jump on the train and take that to the back of the park. You get to the same destination, yet you get to see the park from different viewpoints. That's what I do and it works just great.

I'm used to being able to walk across a park in 120 seconds. DCA and KBF are so small. Just how long does it take to walk from front to back?
Considering its probably over a half a mile from the front gate to Mean Streak. I would say it probably takes at least 15 minutes to get back there.

You guys are forgetting you can get off the skyride, take a short jaunt to the train station to get to the back of the park that way. Two redundant sytems were not needed which I think may be a reason besides ID that the Frontier Lift was taken out.

Thats right Virginia, I am Santa Claus.

That and in case of an emergency there would be no way of getting to the cars. Oh yeah, and all the people getting high all the time.
