Front Seat...The only Way to ride!

For Those who havent riden Dragster front seat yet I HIGHLY recomend it. I have ridden Dragster 7 times 5 of which in the front the other two were opening and I just wanted to get on the other time my brother did not want to wait that long. But now it is the only way i will ride the thing and I am only 13!
I got to ride it four times. I rode once in front, once in back, and twice in the middle. I like the front a lot, but i prefer the back, it gives you a longer time to admire the view from 420 feet up.
I agree, the view in the back is great. I have not tried the front yet, since TTD was down for all except 2 of my 5 trips so far. I do plan to go again in October, I'll have to give the front a try.

I've done the front, the back, and most of the seats in between. I still prefer the back, partly because of the view, but mostly because I think it's an overall better ride. The front is fun because you can see the sled and the track unobstructed. I'll ride in it again, but I miss the extra second or two of airtime when I'm not riding in the back. Just my opinion.

Awww, bad day? Take a different perspective on things. Try upside down, a barrel roll, a cobra roll or a corkscrew. Life can't be all that bad when your feet are over your head!

Also another good point to riding very back seat IMO, is that while the train is going over the top, you can turn your head around and look at the wheels moving over the track, then all of the sudden the train just drops and all that track you were looking at goes bye-bye. A very unique experience, at least for me.
I would have to say Front is the best, i have ridden just about every row on TTD and well the front is my fav.

trips to CP:6 Dragster:2 MFer:6 Magnum: 13 Still warm less bugs, lines getting smaller, hey its August!

TheOne001... big prob, in ur signiture, it says you have rode dragster twice... there are more rows than one...

And front seat is by far the best, I've rode Dragster 6 times, three of which were front seat, the other three were the 4th row, 2nd row, and the 5th row, and yes, they do not compare to front seat. :)

TTD: 6 (Rollbacks seen: 24)
MF: 20
WT: 9

I have only rode it once... Sadly... It has been closed a nice portion of the season in which I took most of my trips. Anyways, I rode in seconds to front (it was wait for from another 1/2 hour, or get on the next train in the second seat) so we rode 2nd. Its a nice ride, but when we go this weekend, we goin for front!
I rode Front on the gold train on Sunday. Wow. It was awsome. The view and watching the track was incredible. Thats the only way I'll ride it from now on. My cheeks were smooshed back in my on-ride photo.Three trains before me got a roll back, so close but yet so far.

I rode in the front seat once and I thought it was great, but I wouldn't wait another half an hour extra for it. When I get in the station, I just want to get on.

I love the front cause you can get the best picture on that part without anybody's arm in your face or something. But Everytime I rode in the back, they never had my picture come up for it. And I love to buy my picture, I have a picture everytime I rode Top Thrill Dragster this year except for the three times I rode in back, so I figured I shouldn't ride it in back anymore so that I could get my picture.

But the ride is all the same anywhere on the train, that amazing feeling of acceleration is there, the view from anywhere is incredible. There is just something about seeing the track just dissappear under you. But next year they need to assign people where to sit like on Wicked Twister except for on the front and back. The train isn't that long and the station can be a little more organized. Nobody would ever realize that the second row hardly has more than four people at a time waiting for it if you load toward the front of the station.

Life has it's ups and downs, might as well make it on a coaster!

I find that on the front, you really feel the tug of the acceleration, but get held back at the top...

In the back you dont get the same tug, although, dont get me wrong, you feel the launch, but you get that massive air time at the top and over the drop...

I personally am an airtime guy, not a "i can see better in the front" kinda person, but it seems the way people are is the way they are, and are often very stubborn to change...as am I. I dont even like sitting in the front on any ride, i feels its a waste of a ride....but thats just me.

Later.
