Front?

I went to CP just last weekend and waited for the front seat. I have ridden Wicked Twister many times before but, my first time in the front was this time. WT was really intense and got almost to the top on Saturday. Is the front the best and most intense or is there a better seat?

Personally I like the back seat the best. This topic has been discussed before. If you do a search you find the topic!

The back is probably as good as the front in my opinion. However, the feeling of flying off the track only comes in the front seat so I guess I'll give the edge to the front. 51/49 in my opinion.

It's going the same height every cycle. It cracks me up when people claim it "made it up to the top on Saturday"... there's slight differences due to the amount of weight on the train, but nothing you would notice.

Gravity, could the wind have an impact on how high the train makes it up the spike?

I'm sure that's a factor... but again, we're talking about a difference of a few inches (if that) more or less than the train before it. It's nothing you're going to notice. I invite you to stand on the midway and watch it cycle 3 or 4 times. It goes the same height each and every time. Trust us, we've watched it all summer long.

I'll take your word for it. It's too long of a drive for me to just sit there and stare at the ride when there are so many great coasters to be riding. Thanks for the info.

Some people manage this arduous feat (watching 3-4 times) while standing in line...and they live to tell about it! Details at 11!

Don't you love how people 'have a life' the minute their POV is debunked?

Hey Gravity, so you know what the program (speeds) are now? I know it's not 72 anymore, but its not as low as last year - is the current program completely different from the others as it seems? The third and fifth launches seem to be a lot more similar speeds than I remember ...

Swing 4 (the second trip backwards) is still 72mph. Swing 5 (final trip forwards) never was a 'launch', it's just swinging at it's own free will at that point in preparation for the brakes to drop.

When I was on the ride, riding in the front, I came off of the ride with two huge scratches on my arms. I was having so much fun at the time I didn't worry about it. Has this happened to anyone else? Or is it just me?
