From The Resorts...

Quick question... I'll be staying at the Breakers later on this week, but am planning on using the Marina entrance in the morning to get to MF faster.  What is the easiest way to get around there from the resorts on the other side?  Is there a shuttle of some sort?  Should we drive around?  Thanks for your help...
Actually, if you walk down the sidewalk toward Disaster Transport, there is an entrance gate right next to Ocean Motion. It's really quite equivalent to going in the Marina gate, and is likely to be less crowded. It might be a better idea to go in there instead of trying to figure out how to get around to the Marina gate from Breakers. Have fun!

That's what I had originally planned on doing, but I read in some threads that the Marina entrance puts you ahead of the crowds more than the that one.  So it really is the same distance away?  I guess I'll plan to use that one then, thanks!

PS.  I have to admit I am getting excited about the trip:)

Yeah, the Breakers and Marina are on opposite sides of each other, if you'd like to take a long walk around ther Perimiter road you be my guest but you better be leaving about 7:15 to 7:30 in the morning if you want to make it from Breakers to the Marina entrance by 8:00! From there it's just a quick sprint to MF. However, the Resort Entrance (near Ocean Motion) like Crystal said, is a lot closer, you won't make it to MF as quickly as the people at the Marina Entrance but your chances of waiting an hour by the time you reach it are a lot slimmer than those that run all the way from the main entrance. But then theres the other side, your chances of going into cardiac arrest from running a country mile to MF from the Resort Entrance are a lot higher than the short sprint from the Marina Entrance. LOL j/k, either way, if you prefer the conveinence of a closer entrance and don't mine running a longer distance, take the Resort Entrance. But if you want to be one of the first on MF leave early and head for the Marina Entrance. It's your call.

Actually, now that I think of it, we will have one non-coaster fan in our group who probably wont want to go into the park so early, so I think I'll have her drive us around and drop us off at the Marina entrance...  Therefore avoiding all chances of cardiac arrest. ;-)

really the difference between the Marina and resort entrance is very small....I personally wouldn't go through the extra effort of going all the way around to the Marina....Both will still put you WELL AHEAD of the main gate which is all you really care about anyways in the end...DO yourself a favor and save the energy..you'll need it! :)

Hope this helps..

Don't walk around Permimeter Road.  The cops don't want you to and it is dangerous.  People looking at MF don't tend to be watching the road.
I would rather be one of the few going in the resort enterance than in the middle of the line thru the marina any day.......
