From England, shall I get fast lane

Hey everybody,
I'm from England coming to cedar point at the end of may with my girlfriend do I need to buy fast lane because I want to make the most of my trip but I have 4 days there all on week days and planning to hit kings island on the Sunday

Because I've never been before I have no idea about the wait times on weekdays so if someone could get back to me would be great

If someone has used fast lane how long are the waits

Thanks :)

since you will be there for 4 weekdays. I don't suggest buying the fast lane pass. you should not have a problem doing and seeing everything that you want to.

2008 visits = 38, 2009 = 19, 2010 = 11, 2011 = 14, 2012 = 10, 2013 = 14, 2014 = 14, 2015= 13, 2016 = 11, 2017 = 5, 2018 = 3

If you have no problem cutting in front of other people, then get one.

I would think with four weekdays you'll be able to do the whole park without spending the extra money on Fast Lane. If that's not the case after two days, then buy it for the third day.

I would buy Fast Lane for at least one of the days you are here. While May is generally a low attendance month, they do get some crowds with school groups. You are coming a long way, and spending a lot of money to get here, so what's another $50 each? Even if lines are only 20 or 30 minutes, it's so much nicer to just walk on. And, you can re-ride your favorites a number of times without waiting.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Cheers mate,
I have a better understanding now appreciate your advice!!

Just want next week to be now lol. can't wait to go on millenium force heard it amazing just need to experience myself haha

I was very suprised that Alton Towers in England has taken the fastpass idea to a whole new money making level! How much coin you have left in your pocket = how elite you want to be. (Sream, Scream+, and Ultimate)

Pretty soon there are going to be more levels of access in these parks than there are ranks in the Army!

My advice? DO NOT buy FastLane in advance.

Once you have seen how the park is running on any given day, then decide whether to buy it or not. Opening weekend was apparently an excellent example of why: on Saturday, apparently there were some long lines and FastLane made it possible to avoid them. On Sunday, FastLane would have been an obvious waste of money, with most lines extremely short.

Daily attendance at Cedar Point is highly dependent on local conditions and weather, so with some exceptions (there are some days that are predictably busy) attendance can be really unpredictable. For that reason, I wouldn't pay in advance for something like FastLane that you don't even know for certain you're going to want to use.
