I am home on military leave for a few days and want to visit the point but can only go one day. Which one has been lighter this year Friday or Sunday? I know not Saturday I know it all depends on the day but I want to make sure before I choose since I only have one day as to before I went every weekend on Halloweekends. Have the lines been big for haunted attractions on Friday?
Well if you go on sunday all the rides will be open if you go friday night not all rides are open but the holloween stuff is going on after 8pm.

Generally Fridays are pretty light but, you have limited ride time and not everything is open such as Mantis, mean streak, gemini...
Sundays in my opinion are the best days to go.
I don't think this is a case to go linking to the "how crowded will it be on this day" stuff. He just wanted advice on which day to go - it's not like he is saying "I'm going on Sunday the 27 of July, is it gunna be busy???11"
I prefer Fridays, myself. I like the dark and the colder temps. The lack of crowds, due to high school football games in the area, makes it nice too.
Fridays
- park is open till midnight so the park is decked out with the screamsters and fright zones.
-park is open 2 hours later in the fall (dress for it)
-crowds are lighter than sundays
Sunday
-little warmer weather you get to deal with going in the afternoon
-parade is on
-all the shows are open I believe, or more than what are open on Fridays
-all the rides are open
Friday you can find some days where you can get a lot of ride time with short waits and your time riding is limited by how fast you can walk to the ride platform.
Friday nights have some cold weather though. Temps are dropping in to the 30's now, and I went when it was in the low to mid 40's and I left the park early.
