Everyone seems to recommend the last week of August for the least busy times, but I noticed that Friday, September 6 is open 11am to 10pm. The websites isitpacked and queue-times don't have much of a history on this date. Is the park typically pretty dead as it is post-Labor Day and after schools start, but before Halloweends or is there something I'm missing? Thank you!!!

That whole weekend is generally pretty good attendance wise, as it's the only "bonus weekend" in-between the regular season and Halloweekends. The Friday historically had very low attendance and for a period of years was actually closed because Honda used to buy it out. That hasn't happened for a few seasons though. The hotels typically have a pretty good rate for two nights that weekend as well. If you're considering going and don't mind missing out on Halloweekends, do it. You won't be disappointed. I've made it a point to visit that weekend every year but this year I'll be a Disney so I'm going to miss it.
