Thanks. That makes sense about it not coming out good in the dark. I'll definitely be trying for as many rides as possible. You'll probably see me dragging my girlfriend behind me, cause I walk fast when I'm on a mission. Sadly, she doesn't. Also doesn't help I'm 6'5, and shes barely 5'0.
I must say, last night was one of the funnest times in my life.
We arrived at the park around 9, and caught a front seat ride on Magnum and Mean Streak. Then, we headed to TTD for ERT. I was kind of nervous standing in line watching the rest of the general public trains cycle. I'd only ridden this once, and the launch is the only part that "got" me. I loved the hill and the drop, but the launch just flat out took my breath away. So after about 20 or so launches, they announce our time was starting at 10:30. We go in, and we get on the 3rd launched train. Promised myself I wouldn't ever hold on, so arms went up as soon as we launched. It made the ride 10 times better than the first time I rode it in June. And I also knew what to expect with the launch, so that was fine. And every ride got better and better. After the 3rd, they stopped making us all walk around to the entrance, and let us in through the exit ramp. Then TOny was gonna try to get it where we wouldnt even have to get out, but there was about 15-20 too many riders. That's OK, we got 7 rides, and were the last people in line. We sat behind T&T on the very last train, AND I got my photo I wanted, with T&T in front of us. :) We caught up with them and showed them the picture, they laughed and said they don't want it posted all over the web, lol.
We also went back this morning, and got 2 rides on MF in the front (another 1st), and 1 on Maggie. Two PT Space Shots and a Sky Ride later, we were done. Came home to pick up the kids to go to GL tomorrow.
I certainly had fun last night. I got 10 rides in. One of them was in the front. I though the idea of going through the exit was cool. I dont know about anyone else but if you were in the back of the gold train last night, I heard a clicking noise on takeoff, top of the hill, and the bottom of the hill.

Hy husband noticed that noise too! He said he's never noticed it before, but I thought I had.
It was our first ERT experience and we had a blast! We got 7 rides in as well - not too bad for someone that was too scared to ride it until last month!
A special thank you to Ryan and Nicholas, who went above & beyond getting us our front seat ride & giving my husband & I a special anniversary announcement!
Of course, as always, the 2 biggest Dragster fans there didnt get any recognition (even though a couple Dragster crew members know just how much of a fan I am).;)
Aside from that, boy that was a great night! I'm soo glad I made the trip....even though I was only there for 4 1/2 hours. I nearly fainted when I heard Tony say they might be filling the trains and just cycle them through. Even though, that didnt happen, the re-entering on the exit ramp was a definate highlight of my 4 1/2 years of riding Dragster.
5 rides in 50 minutes was the best consecutive amount of rides I've ever had in such a short amount of time! I wish there could be more Dragster ERT nights.:)
ONLY 10 RIDES FROM 200!!!
Oh and again, happy anniversary Heather! I was on the same train as you when Nicholas made the first announcement.:)

Congrats, everyone who went. That really sounds like you all had a blast! (no pun intended) I wish I could have been there. The advantages of living nearby are endless... sigh

Just seen the pictures Tony took on their new blog. That first pic makes me look like I'm 15 feet tall, sheesh!
