Does it seem odd to anyone else that operating hours for Friday, August 25 are 10am - 8pm?

Yes, the whole end-o-season hours at many parks seem screwy to me. I always find it depressing when parks start shutting down in August. Like it's suddenly the deep freeze of February and I should just go hibernate or something.

I think it has to do with staffing. College kids are leaving around that time.

Well, I understand why the hours are short at the end of the year (staffing, etc). What I don't understand is why that particular Friday is the only Friday where the park closes at 8pm.

Even in May, the park stayed open until 10pm on Fridays.

they may have a private event booked later at night..who knows....
