How do you think the crowds will be this friday?

Provided that the weather is good, the park projects 22,407 guests for this Friday, which will make it the fourth most-crowded Friday of the year.

4,211 are confirmed with tour groups, and the hotels are at capacity (7,200) for Friday evening (92% attendance on Friday, the rest will be in Friday night for Saturday park entry); that's another 6624 people.

Friday projections are based on a factor of 106.8% additional day-guest traffic above the hotel + tour groups. Different days have different factors.

Using the same set of formulae, this Saturday will be the second busiest for the Po!nt this year, behind only August 11. I'd try Soak City on Saturday and then back to the park on Sunday.

Maybe we will get lucky and it will be a slow Friday... I'm headed there on Friday as well.

Incase you've never seen Duanes posts before, all that he said in his post is BS (no pun intended) except for his name :). He made it all up to try to spice up the "how busy will it be?" posts that no one knows the answers to.

I've been lurking for about a month, so I figured that this Duane's post was probably a bit sarcastic :), but I am still hoping for a good day on Friday - maybe lots of people went last week with the holiday and then they won't be there this week. As much as I want to see good attendance at CP for the year, I'd prefer that they not all be there the same day I am :). I gotta get a magic 8 ball...

You know, this gig really isn't as much fun if I'm going to get busted the first day. What a drag.

You everybody says mondays aren't supposed to be too bad right? Well just for some proof, I was there today and it was bad. Not horrible just bad,hot too.
