Freeway on TTD

I have yet to been to the park while TTD has been running. I saw the booth, but how long before the stamps are gone on TTD? Would you suggust going straight to TTD or riding Millie and Mantis first thing before getting in line for TTD stamps and/or rides.

Thanks.

As far as I know, FreeWay stamps have not been given out for TTD at all this year. I'd be willing to guess that we probably won't see them at all this season simply because TTD doesn't always run smoothly all day so you might not even end being able to use the FreeWay.
Go straight to Dragster regardless. If you don't, you are looking at a 4 hour line in a very short amount of time.
I disagree, when I went on the 17th, (a few days before Dragster closed for extended downtime) it was around a half our to an hour wait nearly all day...the wait for Mantis was around 4 hours, the wait for Millennium was about 2 and the wait for raptor was an hour (front seat on raptor and Millennium, fun fun fun, but Dragster I didnt get to go on because everyone chickened out...sucks, but oh well) so, it was interesting to see that the line for Mantis extended out into the Main Midway quite a ways...

I can assure you Playa21, the morning lines for Dragster are much worse now than they were when you were there on the 17th. Most people know about Dragster's mechanical problems now and they stampede to Dragster immediately after opening. When I was there last, before they opened the queue for Dragster, the line outside on the midway stretched all the way back to the Scrambler. GET THERE AS SOON AS YOU CAN!
During the day it is not 4 hours. It is maybe 2 at the most, but thats not factoring in breakdowns. However Ive rode 9 times and never waited over 2 and a half hours, so maybe it was just your luck.

Mantis, a 4 hr. wait? Are you sure about that? That seems extreme to me.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I don't know Mantis could have had that long of a wait I was there on a day when Mean Streak had 1 1/4 hour wait and I only waited 45 minutes for Millennium.
I would NOT go to Dragster in the morning. I have been watching the webcam and most of the time, it doesn't even open until 1:00! Why waste the morning standing inline when you could be on rides? Go to Dragster in the afternoon or evening.

This is assuming that dragster doesn't breakdown at all and is pushing the trains through. From the pop machines most people say it's about 45 minutes (same as MF). So I would guess a full queue is around 1Hr. 30Min. The MF queues are much larger the dragsters. I still stand by my earlier statement that Dragsters queues are too small. I guess that's good and bad depending on how you look at it. And no I haven't waited through the whole queue, and who is going to flame me saying it's a different amount of time? It may be different that's just a guestimate from me.

I waited 10 minutes yesterday and my friend waited about 5.

Of course that was with a freeway pass and parent swap respectively.

Gotta love parent swap!!

Yeah, it just depends on how they are running to determine the time. From my view your about right, its about an hour from the pop machines. However it can always be a little longer or shorter.

.. a 4 hours wait for Mantis would mean the line would be roughly around Wildcat.

I sense that someones sense of time is a little off.

Sunday there was a full queue and the line was an hour and a half. I wouldn't think of going to Dragster first.

The time spent waiting for it to open coudl be spent on countless rides on my Big Orangish Reddish Baby over there ;)

I own you!

I have been on Dragster 14 times this season and every time I waited for it... (11 times)... the longest I have waited was 2 hours and that was with two half hour break downs, but that's okay cause I was with my friends. Every other time it was 45 minutes to 1.5 hours... However, an hour and a half can go by slowly when you're by yourself!! Oh well, it is worth the wait!! The wait is not bad at all if it is running well.... hmmm! Alrighty, bye!!!

2003 ~ Millennium Ride Photo

On days when Dragster is running fairly consistently it's not hard to find a line under an hour later in the day.

Also, the approxiate wait sign out front has been displaying a longer wait time than is really present. Assuming no major brakedowns, a general trend is that the sign is about 15-25 minutes over the real wait time.

I waited 50 minutes, 30 minutes, and 15 minutes. From the pop machines it was 45 minutes with no breakdowns and constant launches. The best time to ride is right before close. Also for Freeway, don't expect to see it until you don't see anymore downtime.
