Freeway

I'm sorry if this has been brought up but I was just at CP yesterday and I got a hand stamp for the WT. Then went to go get one for MF, and they wouldn't let me. I could have swore you were allowed to get both if you wanted... Or were you never allowed to have more than one stamp?
I've heard conflicting info on this, but I believe it's only one freeway pass per day.

Yeah, I thought I heard something about people having both, so I tried and they wouldn't let me. Oh well.
Yeah when I was at CP I got one for MF and than tried to get one for WT but they wouldn't let me, so it's only one a day.
You could have tried to been sneaky and put the hand with the WT freeway stamp in your pocket, and get the MF freeway stamp on your other hand....

Actually I don't think even that would work because the person for WT asked to see my hand. But I did try it. ;)
...but no one is stopping you from wiping your stamp off. Don't do that though, that just bugs me (people that break the rules such as abusing the wheelchair policy.)

I saw a person today with both a WT and MF stamp.

I only got a MF stamp, but when it was my time the lady putting the second stamp over it was out of ink or something so it really didn't cover the time. So I could have gone again, I guess.

Speaking of freeway, I noticed that there is no longer an employee merging freewayers. There's just a person at the entrance, and then you merge yourself. I'm thinking this could lead to problems.

What? Sure looked like there were people there to me.

Last Sunday there was no one at MF, and yesterday there was no one at Raptor.

When I was at CP there were people at the merging point for MF, WT, and Raptor.
It would seem to me there would have to be someone to stamp over the hourly stamp to show it's been used. Otherwise, people would abuse the system.

Dude, I rode Raptor. Of course there will be someone there for all of the hours that freeway is in effect. What, do you think they're just going to allow people to stroll on in and cut?

I saw the MF freeway guy make certain that the stamp was on the right hand. Someone held out his left hand and the attendant told him it had to go on the right hand. This would be one way to prevent people from having one stamp on each hand.

Coincidence?

RalphWiggum is meaning that there was no one at the merge point. Of course there was someone at the Freeway entrance to stamp your hand.

I've been there when I was allowed to have 2 stamps (twice), I've been there when there was no one at the merge points, but they had already put up the signs so it wasn't too bad, and I've been there--recently when they only allow one stamp a day, and have someone at the merge point as well.

I think that they were just getting a feel for what worked out the best and have decided that one a day for all rides maximizes everyone's chances on getting to skip lines except for the select few that knew about it at the beginning of the season, making more people happy.

Typically during the dead time of freeway users (in the middle of the hour) the freeway stamper will head towards entrance to help out there. If someone by chance has a freeway stamp they will escort them in. There is only one merger/stamper position.

One plus about freeway is the special access people who use same route as the freeway people on Millennium Force don't get yelled at by a bunch of morons for "trying to cut."

When I was there on Wed. there was a stamper at the entrace to MF's Q (I wonder how much a person could abbv. a post while still making sense). But no one at the merge point. I also saw stamps on both hands.

I think CP just isn't making the program clear to employees.

That's interesting, the times I have seen them at entrance they would escort them back. Could be some lazy/ uninformed operators or they changed the system, which would be pretty dumb because those signs aren't enough.
