A lot of guests ask, what happens should their FreeWay stamp begin to fade or get washed away. For the most part if you stay in Cedar Point, even the water rides, they shouldn't wash away or fade. With a couple exceptions.
If your hands are sweaty when you get your stamp, it is likely to fade away later in the day. Perhaps even make you itch as I've seen on a couple occassions. And if you go into Soak City, clorinated water has an evil tendancy to wash away FreeWay stamps.
What should you do you ask? It helps if you wipe or clean your hand before you get your stamp. Unless of course you get in line for the Millennium Force passes. You may get a little sweaty before you get your stamp. Which is why at some of the Kiosks they have paper towels available.
Should find your stamp fading or getting washed away. Talk to a supervisor in Soak City, or go to the Park Operations office. Before it gets completely unrecognisable. I've heard they sometimes just issue an Exit Pass good for the specific ride. Or write out a note for the guest to be allowed to use the FreeWay for the particular ride.
If you have questions feel free to ask. Not gonna be working for the next month. So I spend a bit of my free time on here.

July 4th, 2003-7:37 p.m...... I reopened Dragster.
The Best On Ride Photo Ever!
But it was said that FreeWay passes for Dragster will not run, until the ride can run at least 1500 guests an hour consistently. Also heard that they'll likely give out as many passes as Millenniun Force.
However, from what I have seen in the last week I was at Cedar Point. Dragster has been improving in performance, as we all have seen. But even if they got it back up to par by the end of August, we all know how Dragster runs in cold weather. Which is why I myself say it is unlikely.

But can you really see FreeWay being implemented right now? Personally, I think the way to go is for the first year have everyone wait equally... just something about having FreeWay on the new ride for the year... can't explain it, but it just seems 'unfair.'
That's just my opinion, though. If they do implement FreeWay, then of course I'm going to yield to those with FreeWay passes if I'm in the 'normal' line. I'm not holding my breath, however, concerning seeing it happen in 2003.
