I've got a Nexus 6, it does the job pretty well in terms of daily battery life. I may get a portable charger, but I usually end up just hanging out in line with whoever I'm with, but I'd be curious to see how the Wifi will work. As someone mentioned, the KIWifi did pretty well

Yes, Doze does a great job, but it only activates when the phone is stationary, and at CP, that doesn't happen.
It was nice at Universal Orlando Resort how they have free lockers outside most of the bigger rides because I could bring a drawstring bag and a portable charger into the park and leave my phone charging in the locker while I was on the ride. I just got a Nexus 5X, and I'm totally surprised at how much it doesn't suck. Never been an Android fan. Great battery life. The OS still isn't good as Windows Phone, but that's the trade-off for a richer app ecosystem.
Putting WiFi into a park is not an inexpensive endeavor. I've had a little exposure to that process, and it's harder than you would think. If the pipe is big enough, this will really help Cedar Point, especially with the weak and inconsistent cellular service there.
