I'm going to the park in a few days, and just wanted to make sure water is still free at the food stands, because I like to get one before entering long lines, and you never know one day it might cost for water.
I WILL ALWAYS KICK THE SKY.
I ordered a water at a Gentleman's Club (The Flight Club) thinking it would be free. It was $15(No joke) Hope Kinzel never gets that idea!

Yeah the water is still free at the stands. I got plenty of it on opening weekend :)

I got about twenty cups yesterday. Got to keep hydrated! :) It was friggin hot on Saturday, so I'm glad I don't have to shell out $3.50 for a pink G2.

I always drink plenty of free water. When I'm power lapping Maggie, I stop at the place on the way from the exit to the entrance, get a cup, take a couple sips, pour the rest on my head, and repeat this process after every lap. :)

I know I enjoy the water! I don't like to drink pop while I am riding!

During my trip last week, they would not put ice in the cup. They said they were not allowed to anymore with the free water, the cup is different this year too. The water was cool, but what is with the no ice thing?
They gave me ice everytime on Friday. Sometimes I just asked for ice. No ice would not save money.

Its free and always will be free. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have always been under the assumption that it was an insurance issue.

I've noticed a few places being stingy with ice this year. As if they haven't figured out that the giant ice machine they are getting it from will make more.
I don't mind if there is no ice as long as they don''t give up on the free water!

I'm not sure of the specifics, but I'm fairly certain CP must provide access to free drinkable water. I don't know if that extends beyond providing drinking fountains though.

Cedar Point always has and will continue to offer free ice water to any guest who asks for it. We would much rather spend a few cents on a paper cup and keep you hydrated than have you pass out in the sun and have to make a trip to First Aid. Well-hydrated guests are happy guests.
Much appreciated. While other parks may offer water, they don't offer the nice tall, ice-filled cup of water that the Cedar Fair parks do. Ok, I'm thinking of Dorney, but I believe CP works the same way. For me, it's these little things that make a huge difference!
Don't know why no one has mentioned it, but there are numerous water fountains throughout the Park. Most are plenty cold enough and the coldest water comes from the one at the corner of the Town Hall near Maverick & Skyhawk.
Actually, when it hasn't been unplugged, the one in "Alaska" directly across from the Disaster Transport exit is colder, and the coldest water fountain in the park is the one in the Operations office.
Yes, some people have studied these things. At least there is still no web site detailing the Cedar Point toilets as there is for Disneyland! :)
