Frampton works for CP?

I really hope this hasn't been discussed already, but here goes. :-)
In my local Thursday paper, there was an article about Peter Frampton written by Chris Englehardt. Towards the end of the article, his current projects were listed and one of them shocked me! It said (and unfortunately, it's not a direct quote since I don't have the paper in front of me) Frampton is writing the music for a ride at Cedar Point!
Now this got me thinking. We are all pretty positive that there won't be a major (ie. MF sized) ride next year since it would brake from CP's every-other year tradition. What we have heard concerns the removal of Oceana, and some possible reworking/updating of Disaster Transport. So, could Frampton be writing some music for a newly themed DT? I for one, and I know there are others, really enjoy this ride. Yeah, yeah I know, it's short and not very extreme, but darnit, it's still worth some laughs. :-)
Well I hope this info doesn't turn into a bunch of bunk, but I thought I'd bounce it off all the Pointers here, and see what ya'll thought.

Oh BTW, my local paper is the Bay City Times, and the article was located in the Weekend Scene for all those interested.

Ok, I did a little checking at Frampton's site and came up with this bit of info. It does seem that my idea of him doing music for DT was *way* off the mark. :-( Here is the info, direct from his news page http://www.frampton.com/news.html :

Peter has composed four original instrumental songs to be used on the motion ride simulator, CoasteRider X-Press, designed and manufactured by Ronbotics Corporation. Two of Peter's previously released songs 'Theme From Nivram' and 'Off The Hook' are being used as well. The CoasteRider X-Press is a two person ride simulator that features six famous rollercoasters from the popular Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, OH. Ronbotics began shipping the CoasteRider to customers such as ice cream parlors, truck stops, arcades, restaurants and family entertainment centers in November, 1999 so next time you see one of these machines, take a ride with Peter!

He will also be in the Sandusky area on August 16th at Muscian's Alley siging autographs if anyone is interested. (Sorry that's not CP releated, but it is Sandusky releated. ;-) )

That every other year thing is baloney and pickles.

Didn't they build Snake River and Raptor in a row?
And Power Tower, Camp Snoopy, and Millennium Force were all built in a row.

As long as you're talking about Peter Frampton in Sandusky, you should mention that he is also appearing at the State Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 26.

Didn't Framton write a song for Fast Pass when he was with Humble Pie?....Thirty days in the hole!

My sincere apologies, Magnum is Sinking, you are correct in the yearly added rides/attractions. What I actually meant and didn't word very well, was that I was refering to large rides (ie. MF, Magnum, etc) coming every-other year (or so :P) I am sorry for the confusion.
