Fox 8 Cleveland found the track!

Seems the Skyfox chopper was over CP with nothing better to do and took pictures of the track and supports,the news led off with the story of CP getting a new coaster but they don't know what it is exactly. Think this will bring CP out of the closet sooner?

This could be the exact reaction CP was after. Now the key is to not wait TOOO Long after the initial BUZZ. Heck Fox 8 was teasing the story as if they had found the cure to World Hunger. "a Fox 8 Exclusive, See it here first"

Oh,sorry bout that, I didn't go there. I went straight here, they say they have the scoop but it was just as we suspected, they said thrillseekers imaginations or churning or something to that effect. What losers Fox 8 are, they always claim they have the scoop on something and it is always a farce.

The park was never trying to hide the track in the first place... so why would this cause them to make an announcement sooner?

I thought since their newscast reaches all of northeast Ohio and will undoubtedly be given to affiliates, this would give CP the perfect opportunity to make the announcement when they have everyone's attention. Why not? I never said they were trying to hide it, just now probably half a million more people know about it than did 30 minutes ago.

It's FOX... of course they're teasing it out the wazu. FOX doesn't report news, they report fluff. If it's not important, watch FOX 8. ;)

I have the article from the blade with that Walt Schmidt interveiw. If anybody wants to see i'll have it up by tomorrow when i go over my friends house and do a quick scan. if anybody wants to see it i will have the link here tomorrow.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Fox 8 the same station that brodcasted helicopter shots of WT construction saying it was Vertigo??

Hahaha. Fox 8 really does suck, from Wilma Facelift Smith to AJ "Laugh during the tornado" Colby and Bill "everythings a joke to laugh at" Martin. They did say WT was vertigo!

Stefani Schaefer was the only saving grace of that old people station. Seriously, the people who watch have to be the same people who buy the Enquirer. Such a shame I have to watch many of my favorite shows on that station.

Heheh,I remember for some reason,when Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones got married how Fox 8 built the whole newscast saying they had exclusive photos from their wedding. I didn't watch the whole new just for them, but when they did show that at 10:58, it was a picture of Martha Stewart squeezed into some neon green dress waiting outside of the church or wherever it was they got married, it was truly horrible...

Only my dad is "Mr. Schmidt" I'm not that old yet.

well you really gotta hand it to CP the way they are handling this..

First generating intrest in "Area 51 " with the fence and messages . It has certainly genrated intrest here and most coaster boards....

Second - letting some info leak-out about size and speed.

Third - bringing out track... CP made no attempt to hide this new track, they knew someone would see it and genrate ALL the free publicity for them.
Now ,The news choppers are comming... Soon Kenny Crumpton will be screaming like a little girl riding this coaster

The hype is really starting to build this coaster is overshadowing everyone elses coaster projects, heck... Even the european coaster pages are getting pumped about this thing.......
