For those who weren't there on 5/4

Many people that weren't there on opening day seemed to be upset, so here are some things that might cheer you up:

-There were people at the Magnum entrance at 5:00 am, and I thought I was going to be early by getting there at 6:40.

-The people who were up in front started out running slow, but then speeded up drastically.

-When I got to the queue at 9:05, it was half-filled with VIP drivers. Though I still managed to be on the first "public ride", I had to wait over an hour and a half.

-When I got off the ride at 10:45, the overflow queue had nearly reached the Iron Dragon pretzel. The sign out in front said that the line was 4 hours, but that's as high as the sign goes. It said 4 hours even when the queue wasn't even totally filled.

-Millennium Force was NOT a walk-on. I got in line at around 11:30 and didnt' ride until 1:00.

-Millennium Force seemed to be running slowly, both the ride and the capacity. Though still an amazing ride, it didn't seem to be going "full force".

-Raptor was also NOT a walk-on. Though it was less, I waited about a half hour from 2:40 to 3:10.

-It was very cold throughout the day. I made a mistake by putting fleece in a locker before I rode Top Thrill Dragster.

I hope these points makes the people who weren't there on opening day a little happier. However, even with these points, Top Thrill Dragster rocks.

yeah you didn't miss anything on Sunday except for long lines, but raptor and magnum were un trimmed!

Besides the great rides and being the best of everything, the best part about Cedar Point is that it isn't Six Flags! YAY!

Mantis does look very nice with the red rails. Does it run better has Raptor did when its rail were painted?

they didn't have mantis finished yet though...but i agree it did look much nicer. although i didn't get to ride it as i was standing in line for ttd for 6 hours and i got in at the beginning of the queue, so i missed my freeway to raptor and mantis. they also were not giving out freeway for ttd which sucked, but it was well worth the wait believe you me.

dreamcatcher is freaky!

I got a LOT of sun on my face Sunday! The day was great, and I am kinda glad that closing time was at 8 p.m. because by 7:30 it was getting REALLY cold! It was chilly throughout the day...but closing was downright frigid!
