For FireFox users

Ever since I have upgraded to Moxilla FireFox, I have hardly been able to log into PointBuzz (just now I tried to log in at least 10 times before something finally went right and it let me in). It always takes me to a blank page that says "Object move to Here" ("Here" being a link to www.pointbuzz.com). If anyone has a solution, I'd like to here it so that when people say something intresting I might actually be able to respond!

I don't have that problem... Actually, I've never heard of that problem either.

I haven't had that problem either. Actually since I switched to FireFox, this site has worked a lot better.

Nope, haven't had that problem with FireFox.

I recall getting that page once or twice when I first installed Firefox (a couple of weeks ago), but once I bookmarked the page, logged in and saved my password, I stopped getting the page. Whether bookmarking and saving my login made a difference, I don't know.

Jeff addressed this before. Same thing happens on CoasterBuzz. Just click the link and resume viewing the site.

I got lucky and I was able to log in the first time today...unlike normal, but what I would like to know how you guys saved your password (did you savew it on to FireFox itself, or did you just save it by clicking the remember password on this page). Right when I installed FireFox I used their service to remember my password. I think that messed me up, I don't know, if it keeps working I guess I don't really need this post, but thanks for sharing you non-problems. And I guess I might become a member of CoasterBuzz because currently I am not.

There's nothing lucky about it. Click the link "here" and go about your business. The Gecko engine handles HTTP redirects in some different fashion, apparently, but it's not predictable.

Safari does the same thing with CoasterBuzz, but not here...

No big deal.

The weird thing is that I can save my login info (with the password save option) here on Pointbuzz, but not on Coasterbuzz.

That's odd. I've tested it on all of the Windows and Mac browsers (our family is "bi" :)), and while the Gecko-based browsers do the object moved thing, the rest do not. Getting the login cookie to stick hasn't been a problem for any of them.

I've been using various versions of Safari on both the *Buzz sites for...well, since Safari was introduced. I've found that it works fine on both sites. I use the login cookies.

Well, the latest X.2.8 version has trouble getting the proper url from the intersit...intrati...intr...what the hell...from the commercials on CoasterBuzz, but the X.3 build (1.2.4, v125.12) even does that OK.
